Our experience in hazardous areas and our flexibility, permits us to answer the most special requirements for different applications of fameproof motors. Such motors are designed for use in industrial areas, where motors should partially run under water and partially in hazardous areas, for example in sewage systems, as part of drive pumps, grinders, valves, etc… Due to robust design, quality and know-how, many of our IP68 motors are also used in non-hazardous areas, especially in plant areas and facilities with flood zones.
These are three-phase asynchronous electric motors with shot-circuit rotor, according to the EN 60079-0, EN 600079-1, EN 600079-7 and EN 60079-31 standards.
